Common questions
Why does the app ask for my location?
To sort restrooms by distance and centre the map. Location is processed on your device — we don't store your coordinates on our servers. You can decline and still browse by searching a place.
I tapped "deny" on the location prompt — how do I re-enable it?
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Find A Loo → While Using.
- Android: Settings → Apps → Find A Loo → Permissions → Location.
- Web: Click the lock/info icon next to the URL and allow location.
A restroom listing is wrong, gone, or unsafe.
Open the listing and tap Report. Choose a reason (closed, inaccurate, abuse, etc.). Moderators review reports within 24 hours and can hide or remove content.
How do I report an abusive user or comment?
Use the report button on the offending content, or email support@rx-net.com with the URL or screenshot. We have zero tolerance for harassment, hate, sexual content, or knowingly false reports.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? to receive a reset email. If you signed up with a guest account and didn't add an email, the account can't be recovered.
How do I delete my account?
See Account & Data Deletion. You can do it inside the app from Profile → Delete my account, or by emailing us.
Is the data accurate?
Listings are community-contributed and verified by other travellers. They can still be wrong or out of date. Always use judgment, especially for door codes and accessibility info.
Can I use Find A Loo without signing in?
Yes. You can browse and search without an account. Sign-in is required to add restrooms, leave notes, save favourites, or vote.
